
Dr. Steve received extensive training in all aspects of pediatric dental care including well child exam, treatment of developmentally disabled children, minor and major dental trauma, enteral sedation, IM/IV sedation, orthodontics and operating room experience. He is one of the few pediatric dentists in the Northern Virginia area that is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry has awarded Dr. Steve with the Richard C. Pugh Award for performing in the top 3% in the nation on the board certifying exam. Dr. Steve enjoys teaching and educating both patients and colleagues, and has been recognized as a Leo M. Davidoff Society inductee for outstanding achievement in the teaching of medical and dental students. He served as an adjunct professor at the pediatric dental department at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Steve currently serves as a board member on the Advisory Committee of Virginia Head Start Program, Virginia Dental Association House of Delegate, and as a volunteer dentist at Loudoun Community Health Center.
